Every year the harbor-side neighborhood of Red Hook, Brooklyn comes together for a summer jump-off. The Red Hook Fest features a lineup of professional bands and dance companies, plus free activities for all ages like kayak rides in New York Harbor, face-painting, and an interactive scavenger hunt.
The 24th annual Red Hook Fest features an exciting lineup of artists, including musical spoken word duo Climbing PoeTree, theatrical contemporary dance group The Dash Ensemble, Princess Grace Award-winning choreographer Loni Landon and the Loni Landon Dance Project, and the electrifying Dabka and Zaffa team Freedom Dabka Group.
The Festival brings out more than 3,500 people throughout the weekend, both local residents and travelers from near and far. The largest single event each year in Red Hook, the festival highlights a one-of-a-kind Brooklyn neighborhood filled with art galleries, great food, and beautiful urban landscapes.
