Teaching Artists

Donate to Digital Boot Camp and In Transition: Media

We’re always happy to consider experienced teaching artists. For consideration, please email Maria Soriano your cover letter, resume, and portfolio (if applicable). Our arts education programming includes curricula in the following disciplines:

  • Filmmakers
  • Theatre Artists
  • Poets (including Hip-Hop and Spoken Word Artists)
  • Vocalists
  • Drummers
  • Dancers (variety of styles)

We look for candidates with at least 3+ years of experience working as a teaching artist. In addition to that, we also look for teaching artists who are highly committed to creating positive change in their communities with a distinguished track record as artists and educators.

DTE actively seeks Volunteers

As a small non-profit with several active programs, we are always grateful for volunteers. In particular, we are looking for volunteers for the upcoming Red Hook Fest.

We offer internships throughout the year in a few different areas. Young adults (ages 14-24) are eligible to participate in our paid digital media programs. You can learn more about those here.

We also offer a few internships for college credit and/or a stipend for undergraduate and graduate students. We will post about specific openings as they come available, or you can email us with a letter of inquiry and your resume.
